Our client Simon Koopman purchased the iconic Barraba art silos and grain processing factory and has completely revamped the old grain processing facility into a warehouse & office space for his rural supplies business Stock & Crop.
Storeplan was very pleased to be able to fitout the brand new office & showroom area with our Supashelf Gondola display shelving & Tech micro bins. The warehouse fitout includes I600 Selective Pallet Racking & our Rack End Protector system.
We worked with Simon to come up with a best layout & design to ensure his products could be showcased & bulk stored appropriately, as well as fitting out his space to its maximum advantage.
Another interesting feature of the premises is the amazing silo art. The mural depicts a local water diviner searching for groundwater, using a y-shaped twig or rod or two L-shaped ones. Work began on the silo art on the 25 March 2019 and they were completed just 24 days later on the 19 of April. The Barraba Silos are officially the 28 silos to be included in the Australian Silo Art Trail Collection.
